Frozen Shoulder Diagnosis

You've been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis of shoulder. You are experiencing pain.  You are experiencing a decrease in range in movement. And perhaps you are also now having difficulty putting on over-the-head shirts and sweaters due to these limitations.

The cause of frozen shoulder is not always known.  Doctors believe risk factors include diabetes, stroke, broken arm and rotator cuff surgery. Also, if you are a middle-aged woman age 40-60, you are more likely to develop frozen shoulder. It is estimated that 2-3% of the population will be diagnosed.

Alium feels your pain and has been innovating to make the perfect sweater that is gentle to get on and off, yet stylish enough to wear out and about. The Wrap Sweater is our solution to the issue of shoulder pain when dressing.  The wide armholes and raglan sleeve do not require a large range of movement to put on or take off.  The sweater also features flat seams on the interior and a soft-close front placket that acts like Velcro but is much softer and quieter. Give our Wrap Sweater a try and head off to your rehab appointment in style!
